Q) (MS-DOS) Errore: CD-ROM not found!
A) During the installation of the Program, make sure that the Mediasoft CD-ROM is correctly inserted in the drive.
In case the error persists, verify that the CD-ROM drive for MS-DOS has been correctly installed, and the command line regarding the CD-ROM is present in the CONFIG.SYS file.
Es.: "DEVICE=C:\CDROM.SYS /D:CD000"
The CD-ROM.SYS file is supplied by the maker of the device, usually on a floppy disk. CD000 usually stands for the name assigned to the CD-ROM device. Verify that the correct following command line is present in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file:
"C:\DOS\MSCDEX.EXE /D:CD000 /L:D"
where MSCDEX.EXE is the CD-ROM management program, /D:CD000 should be the name precedently assigned to the device in the CONFIG.SYS file and /L:D stands for the letter identifying the CD-ROM in the system (Ex. "D:").

Q) (MS-DOS) Error[35]-Page fault!
A)
It can occur that after installation, typing MSW330 + Dispatch from
the of C :\> prompt, this kind of error appears, followed by other lines with
different codes, freezing the screen of the PC. The error is much probably
caused by the presence of the expanded memory mapper (EMM386). Therefore it
will be necessary to try and deactivate it, typing from the prompt of
C:\>EMM386 OFF. If it is impossible to deactivate it, since it uses memory
blocks for other programs, it is possible to deactivate it directly from the
config.sys: type from the prompt of C:\>EDIT CONFIG.SYS and insert in front
of the command line the word 'REM'
Es.: "REM DEVICE=C:\DOS\EMM386.EXE"

Q) (MS-DOS) Error[35]-General protection fault
A)
It can occur that after installation, typing MSW330 + Dispatch from
the of C :\> prompt, this kind of error appears, followed by other lines with
different codes, freezing the screen of the PC. The error is much probably
caused by the type of video card installed in the system. Please be advised
that the Program needs at least a 256 colors VGA or SVGA video card and at
least 1MB of RAM, being 100% compatible with VESA 1.2. To check what kind of
video card you have installed on your PC, type from the prompt of C:\>MSD,
and to verify the video card supports 256 colors, from the C:\MSW330
directory type CHKVDGA + Enter. Should the automatic control of the
video card find a device not supporting 256 colors, we suggest to:
1) Some old video card need you to download a TSR Program for VESA
modaliuty management, generally supplied together with the video card. If
this is not your case, or if you do not have the video card installation
disk, it is possible to use the UNIVESA.EXE file instead, which should
be in the C:\MSW330 directory. To execute the application, type
fromthe prompt of C:\MSW330>UNIVESA + Enter, and try to execute the
program again. If this solves the problem, we suggest you to insert the
following command line in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file: C:\MSW330\UNIVESA.EXE.
2) If the preceding suggestions do not solve the problem, we advise to
replace the VGA video card with a newer one corresponding to the minimum
requisites.
